Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report shows that a lossless fractal representation of images composed of the pixels of the integer tone value is possible. It is shows using the example based on PIFS (Partitioned Iterated Function System). The lossless representation is enabled according to next policies. (1) Tone value of each pixel of the decoding image is obtained by the rounding of calculated value got at the decoding. (2) The calculated value got at the decoding should be in the range which becomes same tone value of the encoding pixel, when it was rounded. The encoding is done to satisfy this condition. (3) It is permitted that calculation error occurs in the calculations at the decoding.
