Abstract(in English) | Advanced roadside to vehicle communication systems with many roadside stations equipped continuously are studied is ITS. When another vehicle exists on line -of-site(LOS) between a roadside station and a vehicle, the shadowing problem is happened. Using inter-vehicle communication network is one of the most effective schemes to solve this problem. This paper we investigate the performance of a roadside to vehicle communication system against the shadowing problem, which is assisted by inter-vehicle communication network applied to the ad-hoc routing protocol DSDV(Destination Sequenced Distance Vector Routing). That performance is independent of the modulation scheme of the communication system. As a result, it is shown that the performance of this system has improved about 20% higher on the packet error rate than that of the conventional system and this system is effective method in shadowing environment. |
