Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present an example of the PANAMA-like keystream generator(PKSG), which is the generalization of PANAMA proposed in FSE'98, and introduce a method of evaluating the randomness of its output sequence. We apply a linear cryptanalysis because of the similarity between block ciphers and PKSGs. As a result, we confirm that it is computationaly difficult to distinguish the output sequence generated by the proposed algorithm from truely random sequence. This is the first result to calculate the randomness of a PKSG.
