Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Pseudorandomness is one of the most important properties from the viewpoint of security of block ciphers. We evaluate the pseudorandomness of block cipher SC2000 that was developed by Fujitsu and Science University of Tokyo[1]. Our evaluation is based on a statistical test package by NIST for the AES candidate algorithms[2][3]. Moreover, we revisit statistical properties of the NIST package and consider how to interpret statistics output by it. We find that SC2000 of 128-bit key length has the pseudorandomness as the AES by our experiment.
