Abstract(in English) | In digital communication systems, there exists synchronization errors such as insertion or deletion errors. To correct such errors, it is essential to find the breaks of codewords out of a received sequence. Morita et al. have proposed a class of prefix-synchronized codes capable of correcting single insertion or deletion errors within a codeword. However, there is an uncertain case in their decoding scheme on their assumptions. In this paper, we show a construction and decoding method for a class of codes capable of correcting above errors on some different assumptions. |
