Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In digital communication systems, there exists synchronization errors such as insertion or deletion errors. To correct such errors, it is essential to find the breaks of codewords out of a received sequence. Morita et al. have proposed a class of prefix-synchronized codes capable of correcting single insertion or deletion errors within a codeword. However, there is an uncertain case in their decoding scheme on their assumptions. In this paper, we show a construction and decoding method for a class of codes capable of correcting above errors on some different assumptions.
