Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In Japan, Wireless 1394 has been considered recently. Wireless 1394 is to extend IEEE 1394 specification which is a promising home network standard to the wireless one. The use of Wireless 1394 is considered in case of an intra-vehicle environment, since Wireless 1394 services would be shared in both home and vehicle and installation of twisted wire-pairs would be difficult in a car. In this paper, first we proposed to use Wireless 1394 system in the vehicle. We examined above problem of interference among vehicles which use Wireless 1394 equipments, measured the propagation characteristics between a transmitter in one vehicle to a receiver in other vehicle and propose the mitigation method, which is based on the use of directional antenna as the solution to the problems to reduce the interference.
