Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a new access control protocol for slow-frequency-hopped slotted communication systems. The proposed protocol defers new packet transmission until the number of users with packet to be retransmitted decreases below the prearranged threshold. Performance of the proposed protocol with finite population is evaluated with a two-dimensional Markov chain in terms of throughput and average transmission delay. Numerical results show that the proposed protocol can achieve better performance by suppressing excessive packet collisions between retransmitted packets and newly generated packets. The optimal value of the threshold is also numerically derived.
