Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An English auction is the most familiar type of auctions. An electronic English auction should satisfy the following ten properties, (a)Non-repudiation, (b)Anonymity, (c)Secure against framing attacks, (d)Unforgeability, (e)Verifiability, (f)Unlikability among different auctions, (g)Linkability in an auction, (h)Traceability, (i)Efficiency of bidding, and (j)One-time registration. We propose more realistic electronic English auction scheme, which satisfies all of these properties. Three notable features of our protocol are: (1)both of bidding and verification of bids are done quite efficiently by introducing a bulletin board, (2)anonymity for RM, AM and bidder can be realized to any auction by only one-time registration, and (3)a bidder or an invalid bidder can be identified as long as both parties RM and AM cooperate.
