Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Public Key Infrastructure(PKI)plays an important role for protecting the security of electronic commerce, electronic payment and other activities on the network society. However, security of PKI is currently based on computationally hard-problems, and is only guaranteed with the existing computational technologies we have now. If quantum computer become a reality, PKI based on RSA cryptosystems and elliptic curve cryptosystems can be easily broken down and such risk cannot be ignored. We present alternative technologies that guarantee security in such circumstances as well. Especially, an unconditionally secure digital signature scheme, which was proposed by the authors, is presented.
