Abstract(in English) The nested SPN structure is a stratified SPN structure, which has good properties for data randomizing part of block ciphers. Hierocrypt is a family name of block ciphers whose data randomizing part are the nested SPN structure. The newst version of Hierocrypt are the 128-bit cipher Hierocrypt-3 and the 64-bit cipher Hierocrypt-L1. This paper presents the result of security and performance evaluations for the two cryptosystems Hierocrypt-3 and Hierocrypt-L1. We show the result of security and performance evaluations for Hierocrypt-3 and Hierocrypt-3 in this paper.
