Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We describe two novel public-key encryption schemes, EPOC-3 and PSEC-3, which have been proven to be secure in the strongest sense(non-malleable against chosen ciphertext attacks)under reasonable assumptions and the random oracle model. Although EPOC-3 and PSEC-3 require stronger assumptions than EPOC-2 and PSEC-2, EPOC-3 and PSEC-3 are more efficient in decryption. Similarly to EPOC-2 and PSEC-2, EPOC-2 and PSEC-2 are public-key encryption systems that use a one-way trapdoor function, two random functions(hash functions)and a symmetric-key encryption(e.g., one-time padding and block-ciphers). EPOC is based on the factoring problem and PSEC is on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem.
