Abstract(in English) | We describe two novel public-key encryption Schemes, EPOC (Efficient Probalistic Public-Key Encryption) and PSEC (provably secure elliptic curve encryption), which have been proven to be secure in the strongest sense (non-malleable against chosen ciphertext attacks) under reasonable assumptions and the random oracle model. EPOC and PSEC have two versions respectively: EPOC-1 and EPOC-2, and PSEC-1 and PSEC-2. EPOC-1 and PSEC-1 are public-key encryption systems that use a one-way trapdoor function and a random function (hash function). EPOC-2 and PSEC-2 are public-key encryption systems that use a one-way trapdoor function, two random functions (hash function) and a symmetric-key encryption (e. g., one-time padding and block-ciphers). EPOC is based on the factoring problem and PSEC is on the eliptic curve discrete logarithm problem. |
