Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An effective layered adaptive array antenna is investigated in this paper for a receiver of reverse link of a CDMA system so that spatial separation or space-division-multiple-access(SDMA) might reduce interference between neighbouring zones and it might be oppressed. A proposal method can optimize the balance of antenna weights in each layer corresponding to the estimated DOA distribution. Moreover, the number of weight of the lower layer can be increased by using the weights of the higher layer. The proposed array is compared with a conventional array in the presence of interfering waves exceeded over the freedom in terms of capability of rejecting interference and convergence speed by computer simulation.
