Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the design and implementation of multi-level security(MLS) for L^4Linux operating system running on L4 microkernel. Also The detection & protection techniques against malignant buffer overflow attacks in vogue have been implemented in the L^4Linux-MLS system. The L^4Linux-MLS system consists of three Linux-independent security servers. The L^4Linux-MLS enforces security services such as user authentication, mandatory access control using Bell-LaPadula(BLP) model and auditing. These security servers can communicate with each other and L^4Linux via L4 microkernel.
