Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The off-line electronic cash system(e-cash system) is an important payment method in electronic commerce. The main advantage of the e-cash system is that it provides the anonymity for the users(payer), which was not the feature in previous systems. But, because the user anonymity can be a tool for criminal activities, such as, money laundering, anonymous blackmailing and illegal purchases, we need a mechanism to prevent such malicious actives. Also, recent studies suggest that practical anonymous e-cash system to subdivide the e-cash value in physical payment systems. In this paper we suggest a practical anonymous e-cash system with a fair tracing method using coin tracing and owner tracing scheme. We use the modified S / Key one-time password protocol to issue electronic licenses efficiently. The new protocol prevents an anonymity revocation authority from misusing the user tracing ability.
