Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a new universal hash function that can serve as a tool in achieving authenticity and data integrity. We describe a construction of almost universal hash function suitable for fast software implementation and applicable to fast message authentication. Our hash function is constructed based on the square hash functions(SQH)[5] and the non-linear hash functions(NH)[2]. The security of our hash function is accomplished by the collision probability. And it shows that the proposed hash functions is more secure than SQH. |
