Subliminal Channels Embedded In Key Distribution Systems

Abstract(in English) Subliminal channels embedded in digital signatures have been attracted. In this paper, we study on subliminal channels embedded in key distribution schemes. The subliminal channels embedded in key distribution schemes allow criminals to communicate securely even if the key escrow system works well. After we classify subliminal channels into four types, we give an example of each type, and compare them from the viewpoint of efficiency. Similar to subliminal channels in digital signature schemes, we suggest that it is difticult to perfectly prevent subliminal channels in almost key distribution schemes.
