Hφhldt, van Lint and Pellikaan's Generalization of One-Point AG Codes is Equivalent to Miura's Generalization

Abstract(in English) Hφhodt, van Lint and, Pellikaan constructed a generalization of the theory of one-point AG codes using only linear algebra by introducing the concept of the order function, and called their generalization evaluation codes. On the other hand, Miura proposed a construction method of linear codes from an arbitrary affine algebraic curve with exactly one point at infinity as a generalization of one-point AG codes. We show that Miura's construction is equivalent to evaluation codes from a weight function, which is a special case of the order function.
