A Consideration on Factoring Using Floor Functions

Abstract(in English) In this report, we do an observation on a method for factoring by using floor functions. First, we make characteristic analysis to two kinds of floor functions. Here composite number n is considered as in the case of n=p^2q. Next, we present the factoring method by using the maximal and minimal values of the floor functions. As a character of this idea, differed from the quadratic sieve method, is that the range of variable x is not be restricted such as |x|<√, from the values of x's which satisfies the cube root or square root of nx is an integer and the corresponding function values, n can be factored.
