Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Among the known protocols for electronic secret voting, those based on the use of anonymous channels and blind signatures with a single administrator and requiring the voters to send out messages several times for every vote, can be more practical and thus important to study. However, possible abstentions(voters that quit the protocols before casting the votes)make possible abuse by the administrator. This paper proposes a method of converting an electronic secret voting scheme into another which prevents abuse by the center in the case of abstentions, and shows a concrete example.
