On the Security Model Based on Lattice-Ordered Groups

Abstract(in English) The *-property designated here is an access rule of the Bell and LaPadula model(BLP)in which security levels are allocated to the users and information.A user can read the lower level information and can append it to the upper level information.The *-property prevents leakage of confidential information.Because of the BLP′s access restriction,a user cannot transmit information from any lower level to any upper level in an arbitrary level set.However this causes low availability of BLP. The purpose of this paper is to present a new security model based on lattice-ordered groups to solve this problem.
