Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a multipurpose membership proof system in which the protocols for membership proofs of various kinds, are based on discrete logarithms. In this system, the user who holds one piece of secret information can convince the verifier his identity or membership for groups selectively. The secret for user′s identity i s based on discrete logarithms by using the method in Beth identification scheme and the construction of the master secret witness from each secret witness for membership in a group is based on factorization problem. The membership proof protocol is based on discrete logarithm. Therefore it is more efficient than the previous schemes.
