Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A conference key distribution sysem is a scheme to generate a common secret key, called a Conference key,for two or more users. Koyama and Ohta proposed identity-based conference key distribution systems in which messages among users are authenticated using each user′s identification information.Althoug h the protocol on complete graph network can generate a conference key in three steps,it requires O(N^2)messages,where N is the number of users. When N is large,it incurs large message overhead. We propose an efficient identity-based key distribution protocol, based on finite projective planes, which requires only O(N√N>)mess ages.
