AUTHENTICATION CODES USING LINEAR BLOCK CODES

Abstract(in English) In this paper,we consider two classes of authentication codes based on the linear block codes,general and cartesian authentication codes.In the past,some constructions have been given for these classes of codes.Namely,if a certain balanced incomplete bock design(BIBD) and a transversal design(TD) exist, general and cartesian codes can exist,respectively.In connection with the existence of such combinatiorial designs,a certain BIBD and TD are proven to exist using the algebraic properties of the linear block codes.
