Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a novel synchronization method of M-ary/spread-spectrum signals with carrier frequency offset using correlation mapping, and evaluate its performance by computer simulations. In the proposed system, the acquisition is achieved by using addition of the outputs of three correlators, each of which has a correlation characteristic shifted any frequency for carrier frequency offset. In AWGN environment, the performance of proposed system is compared with the system used a set of correlator of inphase and quadrature phased (i.e., cos and sin) components. As a result, the acquisition range for carrier frequency offset becomes wider. In this case, the acquisition can be dchieved when carrier frequency offset is less than 5/(4T)(T:duration of one sequence) in E_b/N_o=6.8[dB].
