Abstract(in English) | In recent years, packet radio network systems with spread spectrum multiple access (SSMA) have drawn much attention. So far, several studies have been made on the throughput performance of the DS/SSMA ALOHA systems. However, the Spread ALOHA systems which combines the ALOHA system with the M-ary/SS communication system have not been investigated. In this paper, the throughput performance of the M-ary/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system is investigated by theoretical analysis. Moreover, the throughput performance of an M-ary/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system with Channel Load Sensing Protocol (CLSP) is also evaluated. As a result, the throughput performance of the M-ary/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system is better than that of the DS/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system. The CLSP is effective in improvement of the throughput performance of the proposed system. |
