Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, packet radio network systems with spread spectrum multiple access (SSMA) have drawn much attention. So far, several studies have been made on the throughput performance of the DS/SSMA ALOHA systems. However, the Spread ALOHA systems which combines the ALOHA system with the M-ary/SS communication system have not been investigated. In this paper, the throughput performance of the M-ary/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system is investigated by theoretical analysis. Moreover, the throughput performance of an M-ary/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system with Channel Load Sensing Protocol (CLSP) is also evaluated. As a result, the throughput performance of the M-ary/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system is better than that of the DS/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA system. The CLSP is effective in improvement of the throughput performance of the proposed system.
