Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In an asynchronous direct-sequence/code-division multiple access (DS/CDMA), when a large unknown multiple access interference (MAI) exits, bit error rate (BER) performance of the system can be improved by partial correlation weight coefficient control techniques. While, a method using code-orthogonalizing filter (COF) is also applied to suppress MAI, however, the large number of taps ae necessary in a long code length. In this paper, we discuss the design of weight coefficient and propose a novel partial correlation weight coefficient control techniques using least mean square (LMS) algorithm of COF. In the proposed system, MAI is suppressed effectively in a few taps. The improvement of BER is shown by computer simulations.
