Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes adaptive array antennas of which element antennas are directional. These are useful to reduce co-channel or multiple accsess interference in a forward link of CDMA system in a sense of spatial division or SDMA. The first proposed array antenna consists of directional sector antennas in element. The second proposed array antenna has multi-rayer structure in which each an element antenna is constructed by an array antenna. Computer simulation shows thc improvement of proposed array antennas in the performance of convergence speed and that of suppresing interference.
