Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we consider the BER characteristics of the multicarrier M-ary/SS system in the presence of AWGN and flequency selective fading by theoretical analysis. In particular, we evaluate the multicarrier M-ary spread spectrum multiple access (M-ary/SSMA) system by theoretical analysis. Moreover, we compare the BER performance of the multicarrier M-ary/SSMA with that of the conventional DS/SSMA system. As a result, The BER of the multicarrier M-ary/SSMA system is better than the BER of the multicarrier DS/SSMA system when the number of users is small and E_b/N_0 is low.
