Performance of multiplexing of Digital Pulse Position Modulation system with SS signaling

Abstract(in English) In this paper, the code division multiplex of Digital Pulse Position Modulation system with SS signaling (DPPM/CDM system) is evaluated. In particular the data transmission rate and the bit error rate (BER) performances are evaluated by the theoretical analysis and the computer simulation. Moreover, the DPPM/CDM system is compared with the conventional SS-PPM system. The effect of the canceller to suppress the co-channel interference and the BER performances of the DPPM/CDM system using the amplitude multiplex operation are discussed. As a result, the data transmission rate of the DPPM/CDM system is higher than that of the SS-PPM system when the number of information slot is smaller than 2^6[slot]. The DPPM/CDM system with the canceller is superior about 2.0[dB] to the SS-PPM system under the BER 10^<-2>. The DPPM/CDM system using the amplitude multiplex operation can achieve variable relative BER in compliance with each channel's request.
