The Influence of the Partial Band Interference in Orthogonal Multicarrier M-ary/SSMA Systems

Abstract(in English) In this paper, the orthogonal multicarrier M-ary/SSMA systems were considered. The orthogonal multicarrier M-ary/SSMA system combined the M-ary/SSMA system with the orthogonal multicarrier system using time diversity techniques. The BER characteristics of the orthogonal multicarrier M-ary/SSMA system is evaluated by theoretical analysis in the presence of AWGN, frequency selective fading and partial-band interference.Moreover, the orthogonal multicarrier M-ary/SSMA system is compared with the orthogonal multicarrier DS/SSMA system. As a result, the orthogonal multicarrier M-ary/SSMA system is superior to the orthogonal multicarrier DS/SSMA system for single-user case.In multi-user case, the orthogonal multicarrier M-ary/SSMA system outperforms the orthogonal multicarrier DS/SSMA system when E_b/N_o is smaller than 13[dB].
