Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An M-ary/Spread Spectrum Mnltiple Access(M-ary/SSMA)system is higher data transmission rate and can improve the probability of bit error under additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN).The throughput performance of the M-ary/SSMA slotted ALOHA systems, which combine spread ALOHA system with M-ary/SSMA system.is aiso higher than that of the conventional DS/SSMA slotted ALOHA systems. In this paper.the throughput performance of the M-ary/SSMA slotted ALOHA systems is analyzed. In particular, the throughput performance under an AWGN channel and one under a Rayleigh fading channel are evaluated. Moreover, the effect of the RAKE receiver is investigated. Consequeutly, it is found that the maximum throughput of the M-ary/SSMA slotted ALOHA systems are higher than that of the DS/SSMA slotted ALOHA systems.
