Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the Spread Spectrum Multi-Pulse PPM(SS-MPPM)system is considered. The SS-MPPM system uses the several spreading codes, and transmit the data by the combination of spreading code and pulse position. The code division multiple access capability of the SS-MPPM system is evaluated by the theoretical analysis. In particular, the effect of the canceller to suppress the co-channel interference is evaluated. As a result, the bit error rate(BER)performance is improved by using the canceller. In particular, the BER performance of the SS-MPPM system using the canceller is close to the lower bound when the number of users is small.
