Cryptographic Library Architecture for Secure Application Development

Abstract(in English) Recently the secure applications using the cryptographic technology, such as secure e-mail system and electronic commerce software have been implemented. Such message communication-based applications need the message formatting, the management of public key certificates and cryptographic keys besides the implementation of cryptographic algorithms. They should also conform the international and de facto standards and pass the export and import control programs to use over companies and countries. From the experience of secure application development, we have designed the architecture of cryptographic libraries for those requirements. In this paper, we propose this architecture and introduce its components and functions.
