Audience Counting Scheme Using Additional Information to Contents and its Applications

Abstract(in English) In using WWW, it has become required that estimation of the number of audience and individual information. Various kinds of audience estimation systems have already been proposed and operated, and we can think of more systems to fit their purpose. In this paper, we stress estimation of individual information with considering user's privacies, burdens of system stuff members, and accuracy of estimation. Then we propose an audience counting scheme using additional information to contents in user's reporting audience information. And we devise the examples of this scheme, point out application to various information systems.
