Abstract(in English) | An evaluation of raster moire patterns appearing on an entire CRT screen has been performed in order to reduce perception of the patterns. The moire modes under consideration are, (2, 1), a combination of(1, 1)and(2, 2), and a combination of(1, 1)and(2, 3). A 46-cm diagonal color CRT(screen size : 360 x 270 mm)is investigated with QSXGA, SXGA, and SVGA rasters. For the evaluation, a Gaussian Weighting Method is used which enabled the calculation of moire contrast for various moire modes. |
