Abstract(in English) Communications Research Laboratory(CRL)and Victor Company of Japan, Ltd.(JVC)are now researching and developing a transmission system of ultra high-definition images, which captures, displays and transmits images of higher resolution compared with HDTV, jointly. This paper describes about WHD system, which provides double the resolution of HDTV image, and QHD system, which provides quadrople, for respectively.
