Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, various hyper realistic displays have been developed, thus giving the impression that non-realistic problem of displays will eventually be solved. However, a new problem has now arisen. This paper considers the characteristics of hyper realistic displays, especially 3D display. Specifically, the following items are discussed. a)The relationship between hyper realistic displays and the viewing angle-resolution of vision. b)The unnaturalness(distortion of space perception, such as the cardboard effect, the lack of mothion parallax, and so on.)of conventional stereoscopic displays. c)The relationship with visual fatigue. d)The characteristics of image operation to display images.
