| 抄録(英) | The combination of the immersive experience from a large-scale screen and interactivity from realtime graphics can create a total sensory immersion. Researchers around the world have started the application of such highly immersive display environments to digital archive or preservation purposes, e.g. exploring the premises of reconstructed ancient remains or viewing the interiors of treasured structures that are normally not open to the public. Highly immersive display systems enable users to not only "view" cultural hearitages but also "experience"them. In this paper, we will discuss the visualization efforts of cultural heritages using highly immersive display systems at TOPPAN Printing Co., Ltd. |
