Abstract(in English) | Recent progress in the field of organic EL display will be reported. In small molecule-based devices, mono-color and area-color displays have been commercialized using fluorescent organic dyes. And recently phosphorescent materials have been introduced and the efficiency have been greatly improved. In case of polymers, the device efficiency and lifetime have been improved to commercialization levels and commercial products are expected in the near future. |
