Abstract(in English) | Conventional electrical-controlled-birefringence(ECB)LCD has difficulty of producing the color of pure red. To solve this problem, we have performed theoretical and experimental study to improve the color characteristics of reflective ECB-mode LCD. The enlargement of the trace in chromaticity diagram was found possible by using ECB-HAN mode and proper control of the angle of polarization films. |
