Abstract(in English) A novel Reflective In-Plane Switching mode(RIPS)Liquid Crystal Display(LCD)with single polarizer is proposed in this paper. A quarterwave retardation film is added between liquid crystal(LC)and reflector and In-Plane Switching driving mode is adopted. Using Space Parameter Representation method, we obtain both normal black and normal white reflective LCD mode with low color dispersion and wide viewing angle.
