Abstract(in English) | From the year 2000 to 2001, almost all major electronics display manufacturers will be establishing mass production lines for Plasma Display Panel(PDP)production. Regarding the MgO coating phase of the panel fabrication process, there are some key technical issues to be resolved for the mass production. This paper will introduce ULVAC's methodology to resolve these issues through the latest MgO evaporation system, and will also introduce a prototype system for the integrated panel assembly processes which would have capability of yielding remarkable improvement in panel performance(discharge characteristics)and panel fabrication process/ control system suitable for near future production line. |
