Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a better shock testing method is introduced ; this is a test method modified from a standard test method -- Mechanical Shock Fragility of Products ASTM D3332. It meets the requirements for CRT drop test designed for package designer, but using different package materials. In this test, a good fixture design concept is also adopted to increase the measuring accuracy during shock test procedure. It will decrease the phase error and amplify the ratio between fixture and testing machine. This concept can also be adopted to enhance other display shock tests. In this paper, tests was conducted using a 19" cathode ray tube.
