Abstract(in English) This paper describes a field sequential CRT using liquid crystal color shutter for ultra high-resolution display monitor. The color shutter realized by combining color polarizers with ferroelectric liquid crystal polymer(FLCP) panels using plastic film substrates. The method for designing the color shutter is described and the performance of the prototype is presented.
