Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since 1993, Color Imaging Conference has been held focusing on color science, systems, and applications, where color imaging specialists enjoy to meet together and discuss the state-of-the-art color theories and technologies. This time, 33 oral and 27 poster papers were accepted and presented with single-track format for the three days sessions gathering about 250 attendees. Starting from first keynote by Dr.J.MaCann, 5 papers on Image Capture, 3 papers on Scene Perception, and 5 papers on Color Management were discussed. While spectral imaging such as multi-band image capture, and spectral reconstruction of object colors will be the recent topics, the research interests are now addressed to approach to the human vision system by considering color appearance model or color constancy aspects.
