Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Phase conjugation mirror by stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS-PCM) is very useful to compensate the wavefront distortion due to the thermally induced aberration and depolarization of average power solid state lasers. Basic properties of SBS materials are summerized and several applications are reviewed for achieving power scaling of solid-state lasers.
