Abstract(in English) | The circumstances of research and development on MgO protecting material are described when PDPs were at their infancy. Also the physical and engineering reasons are described why performance of PDPs is dependent on physical properties of protecting and dielectric materials. The recent evaluation methods for the protecting materials and their points at issue are raised. |
