Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In landscape visual simulation, computer graphics and CAD are used to design buildings or bridges, and also image processing is used to modify background scenes taken from the real world. We developed the image processing techniques that remove unnecessary objects like electric-light poles or miscellaneous signboards which make worse views, and that extract trees or other objects being used as textures. For those purposes we have developed color processing tools on the chromaticity diagrams, geometric transform with warping, texture mapping and color interpolation after unnecessary objects were removed.
