| Abstract(in English) | Asia Display '98 papers related to wide viewing angle LDCs have been summarized. In this year, most of the papers were related to VA mode and IPS mode. Especially, in the papers of VA mode, some rubbing-less technologies were shown. Also, various methods totally to improve the display characteristics, which are not only viewing angle but also response, brightness and others, were discussed in the two modes. |
